Fundraising
At the NCPTA we understand that fundraising and holding events are key activities for our member associations. In 2006 NCPTA members collectively raised a fantastic £65 million making a huge difference to schools throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Through our regular contact with PTAs, the NCPTA has developed a range of support materials and resources to help your association to reach its full fundraising potential.
This part of the site can help your association reach its fundraising goal and focuses on:
- Things to think about before you start to fundraise
- An introduction to the various different types of events that are the most popular PTA fundraisers
- Looking beyond the school gate, how to raise money without holding an event
- Applying to trusts and grant-making organisations
- How to run successful fundraising events
- Working with local businesses
We would love to hear from you too – so if you have had fundraising success and would like to share this with other members, please send us the details of your event.
- Applying to trusts?
