Yorkshire and the Humber

Hello to all PTAs in Yorkshire and The Humber and welcome to your section of the NCPTA website.  I am Pauline Dent, your Regional Adviser and I am here to offer support and advice on the many varied aspects of PTA activity from fundraising to charity registration, to legal issues.  As a seasoned PTA volunteer I fully understand the challenges you face and my role is to offer help and information either by phone, email or face to face. I will also be working with Local Authorities and School Governors, throughout the region, to help raise the profile of PTAs and the fantastic work you do.  Please contact me either by phone on 01904 737029 or via email pauline.dent@ncpta.org.uk if I can be of any service to you. 

I am looking forward to holding a seried of free events,  where PTAs can get together to share ideas and strategies and to learn more about specific topics such as ways to increase parental involvement.  If your school hosts an event on our behalf the NCPTA will donate £50 to your Association. Remember this part of the website is especially for PTAs in Yorkshire and the Humber.  We would love to hear your stories and ideas and will donate £10 to any Association whose item is published.
