Northern Ireland

Welcome, my name is Jayne Thompson and I am the NCPTA Adviser for Northern Ireland. I am here to help and provide local support to PTAs by offering guidance and advice on running your PTA or maximising your fundraising efforts. Through my role I am also responsible for raising the profile and awareness of the NCPTA and increasing membership, primarily by developing partnerships with relevant organisations including the Education Library Boards.

I shall be facilitating free PTA workshops each term throughout NI. These sessions provide PTAs with the opportunity to come together, share ideas, discuss similar issues and leave empowered through the knowledge gained from the NCPTA and shared experiences from fellow PTAs. Through the NCPTA I am equipped to assist with the developing and flourishing of PTAs in NI. (I look forward to planting the seed and watching the flowers bloom).

For this academic year, the NCPTA has introduced a new regional newssheet, Your Area, which will be posted to the key contact for your association.
